The theater group La Décapolienne de Haguenau offers you a guided tour dramatized on the main events which marked the life of HILDEGADE OF BINGEN, great lady of the 12th century, contemporary of the emperor Frederick Barbarossa I who received her in the one of its castles. Pope Eugene III was one of his faithful correspondents.

Of great spirituality, recognized as a Doctor of the Church, Hildegard of Bingen was at the same time a doctor, a specialist in the healing virtues provided by plants and minerals, a poet, a musician and other noble abilities. In one of her works, SCIVIAS, she describes 26 mystical visions that she says she had while awake, very scholarly visions of prediction.

Its teachings find relevance through a wise return to true spiritual and ecological virtues.

This show will be presented in the monastic garden of the Saint Georges Presbytery, created at the initiative of Yannick Beuvelet, priest of the Catholic parishes of Haguenau.
